I think a lot of the problem was who the &quot;trainer&quot; was at the beginning of the season.  How many other players did we see her clear to play, before they were ready? 			<description><![CDATA[ Well it appears he has some great talent, but the injury bug has bitten him twice in two seasons.  This can be a tough decision for a coach.  Do you take a chance or not?  If he gets hurt early you are out some money and maybe a player that you had to cut in camp that signs somewhere else.  If you don't take him though and he signs somewhere else and stays healthy for the season and does well, then you kick yourself for not believing in him.<br>

			<description><![CDATA[ David Fry was put on season ending IR -- so he gets a paycheck until next season starts.  He's staying around this summer, coaching the high school team up in Allen, and coaching some other teams at the different StarCenters.  I think they should keep him around...  he didn't play much but I was impressed with him.  He was the fastest skater we had in camp last season, and he reminded me a LOT of Jeff Bateman.<br>

			<description><![CDATA[ I noticed that also Slapper.  Interesting that Fry is still around.  He only played in 11 games, but seemed to stick around for the entire season.  Anyone know the sory behind this?  Was he still being payed or does he live around here?<br>

Not sure if he will be offered a contract but I would think he would be in camp.<br>

			<description><![CDATA[ If you are going to affiliate to gain players... Not the best reason by the way. Better reason is to give the guys here a possible shot up there. You need to have a clause that keeps the positions filled. If we send one you send one hopefully of like or better. We do not need Stars holes or Ducks holes or any hole waiting for someone to come back to cowtown. Other than that sign um up.<br>

			<description><![CDATA[ Well, I have to agree on Vets.  We need to make sure we have our limit when the season starts.  The key to this is to have guys that are proven and will stick around throughout the season.  We don't need vets that will bolt at the drop of the hat.  This is the foundation of your team and when they start leaving you will see trouble.<br>
