While that is a nice to have, it won't keep people from coming to games... The Brahmas have always catered to more of a family entertainment atmosphere than the old style beer crowds...

Same ol' August threads. Folks anxious about signings. Hockey time is nigh upon us and can't get here soon enough. Wonder if NYTEX has gotten their liquor license yet? Any word on a resturant vendor? So many preparations, so little time...

Positive attitudes come from postive experiences is another way to say it. While building a new atmosphere and tradition, it is very important to include all the aspects of the outcome.

Anyone that has ever been professionally trained as a Project Mgr has gotten the talk about stakeholders. Stakeholders in this sense are everything from Stuart down to the fan. It isn't just about investors (financial or time), it is about EVERY entity that contributes to the success of that...

Yeah, maybe should just sit back and let everything come out as it will. Just as all "new" things, time will tell the results...

Keep in mind though, that these type of promises have been made in the past as well, with very poor results compared to expectations.

Unlike major pro sports, minor league sports is driven...

Well its 2 and half months before they have to have all in place. Just being in a rink that looks like a barn stuffed with extra seats is pretty far out of the box. It is Austin on steroids but they have a shot at a new arena. We have today and no word just good intentions for the future. To have a real home in NRH someone will need to step up and propose an arena most likely from the rinkers paid for by those coming into the special area zone to eat, drink, or make merry. That is the latest...

No word on anything, little to no news from the club. Signings ok but nothing to make you jump up and down so far. An unproven coach and staff, new place to play an a promise of hockey this season. "Business as usual" nothing new with this group. Junior league players will be looking better and better as the summer goes on, nothing new there either.

Mike and company time to think a little bit more out of the box.
