Regarding the bulls, somebody around section O made great sport of tearing the bulls into pieces and tossing the pieces out on the ice. It was pretty juvenile. I didn't see who it was and I don't know their team preference.

I had a lot Mudbugs fans sitting around and they were great. I admire how much they support their team and having them in our barn made for a great atmosphere.

I know what the bulls cost and I also know how many have been brought back torn up. The bulls are a fund raiser to be recycled by being thrown out on the ice after a Brahmas score. That is why the Fan Club tries to not sell to those who have no intention of throwing them on the ice or tearing them up. We have sold a few for our cost to people who want them to save, but we normally try to do that when we are ordering and can plan on ordering extra. We have gone thru at least 1000 bulls this...

think the "abusive" fans are those that never go to someone else's barn. If they did, they would treat visiting teams as they would want to be treated while visiting someone else.

i agree with that, i had a whole new perspective after my first road trip.

I have always been treated well whilel in Mudbug Nation. My wife and I have been invited to tailgate parties there many times. I will continue to treat them the same. Actually I have a few of those purple bulls myself.....bought them on my second trip over that way. They are sitting with my collection of pucks, etc. from other teams.

Three or four years ago I tried to buy a swamp roach but was told no. Guess it depends on who is working the table. Anyway, the poster who claimed to have seen our fan club refuse to sell a bull to a bug in reality is probably a bug fan over here stirring the pot.

And yet we sell our mudbugs to you; knowing they will be taken from the arena and abused. (Yes, I have Brahmas fans who are friends show me their bugs in nooses.) And we don't charge extra or hold it against you.

Makes sense to me. We know a fan from an opposing team is trying to get a cheap souvenir so sell to them for what they cost us.

Yeah everywhere you go you get at least one fan that is completely retarded. Unless you go to Wichita, then the whole arena is that way. I think the Bossier fans are awesome, I love their support for their team. slapshot, I didn't say I wasn't coming back....just that we were going to head home today. In fact, in my first post I said (and I quote) "I reckon this won't be my last trip over here this year......" so obviously it didn't make me that upset. I just found it different than the usual situation here. Awh well I guess what makes this game so exciting is its "all in the eye of the beholder" gsg! I enjoyed both games. Tudor does make some mistakes but will take him ahead of the ref you had in Laredo any day! You talk about being on a mission, that young man doesn't have a sniff that the game is not all about him and who he wants to win at any particular time or any particular moment. I don't know about any kids that were to skate between periods. The aisle was completely empty when we got there. We stepped in the aisle to let the kids say hi to our guys during warmup. I turned around and said hello and made a couple of comments like "your guys are doing great and I hope you make playoffs, etc.". He made a couple of comments about the bugs, etc. and i thought he was joking around. Not. I finally just said "well, your guys NEED to win this game...

With a fan on the boards sitting on the end seat row one across the isle from us. The bugs fan was wearing a Lightbody jersey not sure what started the whole thing but I do know the NRH police were involved at one point. They were watching pregame crowding the isle along with the kids that were to skate between periods and I guess he took objection to it or felt crowded. The female bugs fan and hin seemed to have a few words and niether wanted to give up. What those were I do not know...

we were thinking about going to your game today and then heading home. At the door someone was handing out ticket information (that's what I was told it was) and when I held out my hand to get one of the sheets, he wouldn't give me one saying "nope, you won't be interested in this". I had to actually follow him and ask for one. Maybe he wasn't your GM....but that is what I was told.
