About half way through this thread I thought about a comment, then thought better because the initial post was altered. It seems thank goodness was in order.

All I can say is that the worst reply I could come up with is , "Your Mother wears Army Boots!" This was a great slam in my elementary years and could get a fight going in a NY minute. Of course we did not know much about NY and really had no idea about a NY minute but it seemed cool. The bottom line is today most all...

I have to take my hat off to Brassard. He congratulated our guys like a champ last night. He has always been one of the nicest guys when we feed after the game.

I was at the game, not that that matters. Im sorry, but this must be your first introduction to sports of any kind. So let me fill you in on a not so secret-secret. When players from opposing teams play against teams that they once played for, their usually is a lot of "stuff" going on. Most players take it personal, on BOTH sides, you see they want to beat their ex-teammates-once again BOTH sides. A lot of talk, late hit here, little whack there, a stare here an elbow...
