I notice the word contender not winner. As long as the Dead Wings have what I saw last night 5 years may not be enough. Marty has been one of the few playing
and he did not last night. Of course it hard to catch water from a fire hose with a thimble.

I think the Stars will win it all next season because they have become a team. They may not match up with the Wings at all the skill positions but on the back
end I think the "New Kids On The Block" will perform better than old guys Lidstrom, Chelios, etc. Modano can still play a role but Richards is now
the man. Newly signed Swede Fabian Brunnstrom could be a huge addition. This team now belongs to Morrow and it will play with his intensity. And Hully has
added another dimension to the team chemistry. So change my post to "contender and winner"!
