Do we stay with Cash or go to Jaegs, who plays great in front of the home crowd? And if you are Musky, do you play KC or stay with JD, even though he has lost
two games?

I defer all our decisions to Dan. But if I'm Musky, I gotta give Carrol a shot at the title. You have to change the chemistry of the team and fast. Muskutt
has to stop the bleeding and stop it right away. I just hope Dan is a step or two ahead of that.

I agree B00SS. I don't know how he makes his choices, but he always seems to know what to do. That's why he's the coach and I buy tickets.

It was a very tight game and could have gone either way. I think we all know that. This second game was very much a turn around for the Bugs. Is there more Bugs turn around to come? Or, do you believe we are a vastly superior team? I believe the Bugs are much better than they played Monday night. In other words, Muscutt may have stopped the bleeding by their second game. I agree, the Bugs looked pretty helpless their first game. The second game...I could vision them winning it when Cam saved us. Can the Bugs ramp it up even more? Can we keep up with them if they do? I just don't count these Bugs out of it. By a long shot. They have too much tough play in their past. |

They are bleeding profusely. I don't see any way the bugs take two from us in our building. I will be surprised at a split. |

I believe we can do it, but it will take raising the bar, yet again. The bugs DID play better the second game and you can bet your cowbell they will play even
tougher the third. They don't want their noses rubbed in Brahma droppings. Our boys better be ready.

Cash or go to Jaegs....Well you pose the question... Game 1 CASH was outstanding game 2 with a little let down with the D CASH gave up a couple that he should
have stopped. If i was the coach I would go with Jaegs...There is a little poker involved here. Dan will do what he wants but its a call from the hockey gods
and they say Jaegs. If they do go with CASH dont wait so long to pull him like last time....

who are in a position of knowing far more than we fans can see. Dan and Scotty. Roy Lang has the trust of both and does not flavor what either says. For my
opinions, I listen very closely to Roy, simply because I don't have the ability or savy to talk with Dan or Scotty about this competition. I can talk with
Roy, and I do. I read him intently. He is a big time friend of Dan and vice versa. It would have to be that way after Dan spent so many years in Shreveport.
Roy came over here when Dan was announced as our coach. A tribute to a good friend. I knew it when I took their picture together.
Let's be honest about this pending series. Scott has the experience advantage as coach. Doesn't mean that Dan can't and won't win it. It just means he doesn't have the experience to draw on that Scott does. By all means give Dan an A+ for intensity. He may have invented it, by all rights. But, never, never, never say Scott is not just as intense. Or, you are blinded by fan enthusiasm. The pre playoff season proved the Mudbugs a better team. History shows they secured their playoff berth long before we beat out the bottom placed contender by matching points with them and beating them out by one win. I wouldn't say we blasted into the playoffs, but........we're here. And so far we've been awesome. Awesome and invincible are two different cats. We have not proved we are the top cat yet. And just because I reserve my boasting until the dust has settled does not make me any less a Brahmas fan. Me and the Mudbug fans? I've got some very nice friends over there. I've outgrown talking smack on their board. It just doesn't get me anywhere. I'm envious of them, their barn, their history, and their enthusiasm. When over there Sunday, I met Chewy, his staff, and was presented a press pass and was invited to sit with the announcers and recorders. I can't even get a press pass from the Brahmas. Counting about 9 thousand pictures I've taken from start til now doesn't even get me a place to shoot from in our barn and I'm tired of asking for it. Go figure... |

John...not to worry, as Burrhead1 said the Force is with the Brahmas on this one....after the last game photo finish win, Lang and the announcer reportedly
disappeared....must have been in total shock....think of the Bugs...as long as the Bulls keep churning I believe that Fate has sealed this one for our
guys....

Here we go, same ol' same ol'. At the beginning of the season we heard on this board every single reason in the world why we couldn't win with a
rookie coach. Now, we are straight out smacking the Bugs around in the playoffs, in their own barn no less, and we get the hand wringing "oh don't
get ahead of ourselves here". I have said it from the very start of Dan's coaching tenure and will say it again. Dan is a winner and will make the
Brahmas winners. They obviously believe it. Seems a few of our fan base is just a tad slower to catch on.
John, I have cooked 9,000 pancakes for my kiddos. That doesn't make me a chef anymore than you taking pictures makes you a member of the press. Guess that's why you have no press pass. You will just have to sit in the stands with the rest of us fans. |

The pre playoff season proved the Mudbugs a better team. History shows they secured their playoff berth long before we beat out the bottom placed contender by matching points with them and beating them out by one win. Who was better for the last 1/3 of the season? I bet my answer is different than yours.
Why? They are just another CHL franchise (so are we), their barn is not exactly Laredo/Broomsfield (NYTEX could be argued is nicer except for the size after all it was just redone), what about their history? they won a cup like 8 yrs ago (FW hockey has 2 CHL championships and about 5 times as many years of history), I would say the Brahmas' fans are pretty enthusiast themselves... Take a look around, this season is the exact same situation with a smaller barn, be thankful you are able to be there when some of us can't be... I think I will stick with my hometown team instead of envying somebody else's... Drew |

I like the way John thinks, I joined the Mud bugs swamp when Minzy whom I call friend played for them and I like and
respect most of the fourth liners that is why I am still over there. In saying this my heart is with Minzy and the Brahmas and I hope they win the cup, as I
said on the Bugs board and they could of been all over me for this but they are a classie bunch and didn't. " I would like the Brahmas to win because
it gives Minzy a chance to win the cup the Bugs couldn't or wouldn't give him as he is reaching an age were he will think of hanging up his skates
soon"I assure you that this third game is the most important game that the Brahmas have played all year, the winner of this game will most likely win the
series.

The rule of threes. In this case, even if the bugs gained a split at Nytex, that still would give the Bulls three wins and would leave them needing to win
only one of the remaining games in order to advance. How about a win for Minz!!
