I just don't understand that people will vote for this guy just because they don't like Bush. Don't they know Bush is not running?
BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA is not proud of America and will not wear the flag pin. Salute the flag, He is predigest and when he is Saying now is our time he is talking about black's not the party don't fool yourself. Just look at the predigest church he attended for 20 years. This guy is a bad joke on every American.

Let's see - since Ms Pelosi and Mr Reid took control of Congress, oil has doubled, gas is at the $4 a gallon mark, nearly 50,000 people lost their jobs
last quarter, millions more lost their homes, and ad nauseum. Now Barack Hussein Obama is going to change this
exactly how?

What exactly does this have to do with Brahmas Hockey?

Joepen, with gas hitting $5 by fall, and more people losing their jobs and homes, and then higher taxes if BARACK HUSSEIN
OBAMA is elected, fewer people and businesses will be able to spend money on Brahmas hockey, forcing the club to close up shop. That's what
this has to do with Brahmas Hockey.

Well said but ignores the point. Dems have have consistently voted no to increasing domestic drilling. They want to increase the federal tax on gasoline.
Hussein Obama has refused to salute the Flag. Who can deny they are worse off since the dems regained control of Congress and can truthfully say things will be
better if they also take control of the White House? Ever watch the the movie "The Candidate"? That's BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA. Or as Ma Richards was
fond of saying, "all hat, no cattle".
As to what this has to do with hockey, it's certainly getting more action than the hockey posts! Flame away!

Gary, you missed my point on our political landscape...parties are not the answer, candidates are. Political parties have always been a part of the US
political landscape in some capacity, but not always like the last 50 yrs. In fact, the change really started taking place in the last 30 yrs or so with the
party taking priority over the country itself. Personally, I blame alot of this on President Reagan and his administration, but he was by no means that only
one to promote such rhetoric, only the one that made it successful. He made it successful by getting the Evangelic community to back him and believe that he
was deeply religious first and then political (which was not even close to the truth, IMO). Today, we are seeing another shift even in that community back to
really asking what the Republican party is about and realizing that many have been deceived by false promises, policies and heart motives. That is just one
example, there are many on both sides of the major party line. Another side note, the modern day Republic and Democrat parties basically switched sides in our
history, if you read through their history the values/goals of the parties almost made a 100% flip. I also like the fact that the Republican party loves Thomas
Jefferson so much...you know the "father" of the Democratic party, lol.
Yeah, there is a picture of 1 sec in time that shows Obama not covering his heart with his hand, did he do it the next second or a few seconds later? I have no idea really. How about the other 3 people that were on the stage at the same time (nobody seems to know about those 3 including Senator John Edwards)? Does it really matter after all? If I thought that constituted patriotism then half the people at the Brahmas/TCU/Cowboys/you name it aren't respectful or patroitic either, heck I see many now that won't take their hat off (of course, there are some that wear hats/dress down to church, but that is a subject I won't go off on) when the National Anthem is played, does this mean that none of them love their country or are bad people? I would hope not... Try this link and see how much of the stuff out there can be spun either way on a person/topic...it is www.truthorfiction.com and it just goes to show how deceitful people can be until someone actually researchers/talks to the people involved. It isn't a pretty picture to the testament of the human spirit... http://ss659.fusionbot.com/cgi-bin/ss_query?sitenbr=120222903&k=obama http://ss659.fusionbot.com/cgi-bin/ss_query?sitenbr=120222903&k=mccain Just some stuff I think about... Watch the entire clip, Drew. It shows even more disrespect than the still clip. Course the singer would have had me with my hand over my ears. And whatever
fans do or do not do at games (and I hve told more than one to remove their cover) a presidential candidate should behave like a patriotic citizen. IMO. click

Just a thought here, but have you guys failed to notice that Texas is a red state?? You're pretty much going to get your way, so why rub it in if we
don't feel the same as you? Obama has my vote, and I assume McCain has yours, and that's ok.....as you pointed out THIS IS AMERICA.

Stroker, Texas will probably swing back to being a blue state this year. At least based on local elections going that way. Not rubbing it in. Just don't
understand why anyone would choose to vote for a jihadist - oops! Better watch my political incorrectness. Anyway, Huckabee was my choice but it didn't
happen.

The "hand over heart" thing happened in October 2007. Lots of other political embarrassments have occurred since. This is far from the current talk
of political happenings by the news people.
Texas went for the Republican candidate, now John McCain. Unless you just want to berate Barack Obama because you don't like him, consider in the same breath you are stepping on the toes of those who support him. If that is your intention, you may be loosing friends in the neighborhood. I think there is truth in the saying that friends should not discuss/argue politics or religion. I would be far more impressed if some compliment was paid to John McCain. |

Guess I just don't really see the relevence to a person being able to lead the country. While I always hold my hand over my heart and will teach my
daughters the same, it is mainly out of tradition and respect, not a measure of how much I love my country or what I am capable of doing. I have seen and read
far worse from presidents and candidates over the history of this country that concern me more.
McCain for instance met and starting dating his current wife while still married/living with his first wife, if I remember right, that is called Adultry, an act at one time looked down on pretty harshly (some even wearing a symbol of this sin), but today it seems to be ok. Grant you he wouldn't be the first President to have this in his past and I am not talking about Clinton or JFK, but one in the last 30 yrs. McCain's wife also is a former drug addict and was found to be stealing to support her habit, less than 20 yrs ago. McCain has become a puppet for his party in order to try and get elected, this is to bad because if he was still the guy from 2000, I wouldn't have a problem voting for him today. Our current president is a former addict as well though, so I guess it is a matter of convenience of the viewer's side of things. The most moral president this country has seen in 50 yrs or more maybe, was ran out of office because of oil (go figure) issues in his term, showing that the people could care less about the integrity of the president than their own self wants (remember what I said about 2 things that run politics). Our country was in a great economic position for nearly 10 yrs and most (regardless of their outward words) were happy to overlook an adultress action in our country's most precious building to keep things going well in their own lives. Like I said, I guess I just don't see the reason why people are getting in a tissy about a flag pin and if a hand is over a heart when politicians are regularly caught for tax fraud, improper connections to lobbyists and campaign contributions, adultry, theft, etc. In the grand scheme of things, this is small potatoes in my book.... Ok you folks raving on about Jihad. Here's the meaning of Jihad....not so bad, huh?
What is the meaning of Jihad? Literally, jihad means doing one's utmost to realize a goal. It is not the equivalent of war |
