Leslie Bullion Gone??? |
Lead | |
|
Leslie, The Beef, Bullion, also known as Leslie Williams before the most recent of her marriages, is no longer listed as working for the brahmas. I know my
corporate care package will not be bought this year without Leslie's superb customer service. I guess I'll just have to buy stars tickets instead now.

Failure to retain employees like Leslie is the reason this franchise has never made money in any year of existence. Mike Barack should be let go for his
incompentency. Has anyone met this man? I'd rather walk on broken glass and soak my feet in lemon juice then hear him whine about how the brahmas should
be more important in DFW than the cowboys. I'd really like to know what Barack has on Stuart Fraser by way of blackmail that he hasn't been fired
after all his shenanigans.

You guys seem to be sitting on each others lap in Reno Nevada? Now we will see if you are sea gulls or if not you operate like them.
I really don't know why she is not listed. But as you can tell there are only four plus Mike and I was told the office will be lean and "well not necessarily mean". It will be small. I would imagine some of the employees from the rink will help with game night stuff and some part time college folks. May be lots of volunteers. Best in sittin together hockey Westy

Oh, please tell me this is a mistake! Leslie can't be gone. She was the best. It was bad enough not to have Naomi back, but now we've lost Leslie too!

Just wanted to confirm the bad news ... Leslie is gone. No, she didnt leave on her on accord ... she was let go. It seems to me that something is going on in
the Brahmas because there is no reason to let go of the manager of the department after being with the company for several years. Her customer service was
always above and beyond and the Brahmas will miss her severely.

Out with the old, in with the new? The "second coming".

Leslie was working somewhere else and asked to come back. If you want "out with the old and in with the new" then she shouldn't have been asked
to come back in the first place. Is a little bit of professionalism to much to ask for?

BOOS, "out with the old, in with the new?" was posed as a question, not as a wish on my part.

There is a question mark on your original post. My apologies. I'm a little sensitive about this issue. My wife and I are really fond of Leslie.

What is the deal here??? Last I checked, Texas is a "Right to Work" state. You can offer someone a position but it doesn't mean they have to
accept it! Booss tells us she was asked back and declined, if I read his post right. Brahma Bill and Redbull seem to be first timers looking to stir up the
board if you ask me. Nice try rookies.

No, Whatwould', you actually read my post incorrectly. Leslie was offered the job, accepted it, started to work, helped us select our ST seats and is now
no longer with the company, as they say. Now I don't know the particulars, I just know that Leslie was always a great lady to deal with. Always friendly
and upbeat. Always willing to go the extra mile for her customers. I don't know what happened, but she will be missed. Good luck, Leslie, in all your
endeavors.

Not trying to stir up anything, just with the rotating door of sales people in the past with the brahmas in the past, it was nice to have someone stable like
leslie. I once had to deal with a surly punk kid named Adam once when Leslie was not in. Let's just say that customer service wasn't up to snuff.

BTW, whatwouldwilldoggdo, do you understand what "Right to Work" means? It has nothing to do with offering a position and them being able to turn it
down... thats called Democracy. Right to work means trade unions are prohibited in Texas.

This has everything to do with good customer service and professionalism.
We don't know if Leslie's departure was handling in a professional manner or not and who decided it (her or the company), and honestly, that is between her and the company. What we do know is she was a top reason why many purchased STH packages and continued to come back. This being said, it is a challenge for the company to replace her with someone that can also do the same level of customer service to the fans. I can think of a few others that fit this MO as well that I really enjoyed working with as a customer. Keep in mind though, this is nothing new for the Brahmas. When Pat Harvey left, it was a bigger impact than this, IMHO and it wasn't a pretty departure. The Brahmas hired some good people after Pat, but no one really ever filled those shoes totally. There is no question the organizational chart has changed dramatically with this new setup, but I am sure they will iron it out. The Brahmas' was the largest front office in all of the CHL for many years. Most teams have small staffs to do all of the work. Heck, even the Fire didn't have the staff the Brahmas have had in the past. Drew |

The thread that would not die?
We all and I mean everyone I have spoken with are very sorry she is no longer with the company. We are unsure what happened to cause this event. There has been much speculation. What I hope would happen with this thread is that if the dismissal was unjustified or some macho bs from the ownership they now know they screwed the pooch. It is time for them to start embracing the fans both old and new. If they want to sell more season tickets and sponsorships they need more Leslie's not fewer and they need to open the venue to get-to-gathers where the old fans rebuild relationships and meet the new folks. They are missing gigantic opportunities a little bar-b-cue and beer would buy. Season ticket holders buy and sell more tickets than cold calls. The immediate area businesses and restaurants still don't know hockey is coming or the ice rink is even open. Best in turning the corner hockey "To sell more tickets" Westy

Frank and Mike know they have an invite to the Goaltenders get together at Cotton Belt BBQ but they are very busy with volleyball. The rest of us will get
together anyway, just like last time.

"Right to work means trade unions are prohibited in Texas."
It means more then that like sweat shops, low wages, horrible working environments and conditions to name a few things worng with the "right to work" laws of this state and the way a lot of business hide behind them when terminating employees. Not to say that has anything to do with this thread. |

Unions suck! Not that that has anything to do with this thread. lol

Unions do suck. Anyway, Right to Work means a company is free to terminate an individual's employment at will. Conversely, an individual is free to leave
a company at will. I was sad to hear Leslie was gone as well, but, there seems to be a lot of glass half-empty folks here. No one here knows the reason
Leslie was let go, no one here was in the room when the conversation took place. So, all of this is empty speculation. It would stand to reason the Brahmas
will look to fill the position with another qualified candidate. Give that person a chance before judging them. I feel bad for the guy/gal who comes in to
replace Leslie. Already they are behind the eight ball with folks on this board, through no fault of their own.

Front office staff is generally trimmed when sales is off. I find nothing in the way she worked or her ability with the clients. Looks like a payroll
adjustment to me. We will know when and if a replacement is hired. Who that is and salary to salary. Or see if someone in the corp picks up the work from
the rink side. Remember as Drew said the Brahmas had a very large front office staff before and there was the thought about running things small with the
small venue. The goal being 2,000 tickets every night as opposed to 4,000 plus. The corporate sponsorship is about the same except you don't get the
big Fort Worth venue play in NRH. You have traded the College Belt and drinking crowd for the Bible Belt.
