I have been following the Brahmas since their inception and it seems that the Brahma fan is never happy. This forum is full of examples of people complaining
about the most idiotic things. We didnt have Brahma Hockey last year and we have them back, thanks to some hard work from managment. Quit complaining and enjoy
the fact that we have the Brahmas back.

You know, you are right, well kinda. You see most fans are happy, or atleast have been in seasons past until, oh , I dont know, the middle of November when
they realize just where the team was heading in the standings once again. So, if finishing with a record of, well lets just use the last one for example
(17-39-
 makes you happy, the grin from ear to ear 24 hrs a day if you like. But for some of us, that's just not acceptable, therefore we have
"vented" accordingly. You know many of us have been around a long time and have suffered through the losing, night after night, and that makes us a
little cranky so please be a little understanding since this team hasnt contended since they first came into existence, with who?....................The 97
champions FORT WORHT FIRE 'S roster. Ever since those players either got older or left, they have never rebuilt a contender, and that has a toll on fans
you know.................BUT ALL THATS IN THE PAST , well atleast we hope. But we do have gripes, wether they are major or minor, petty or otherwise, they are
our feelings and we feel that they need to be attended to. I, we, realize that there are fans out there who dont share our views and think griping, for example
about this "ticket availability thing" is no big deal and shouldnt be discussed, but for some of us its seems matter, so I hope you understand. We
all really do have the best interest for the team in mind when we post, I know it might not seem like it, but just try and read between the lines cause the
message is there, I guarantee it, wether you believe it or not.
I hope you have a better understanding now. Have a nice day. P.S. Oh yeah, one last thing, realize the one thing that makes all of us angry and gripe, wether it be Me, Drew, Westy, John or many of the other regulars is this.........................SOME MORONIC NEW POSTER POSTING FOR THE FIRST TIME TELLING US TO SHUT UP OR STOP POSTING CERTAIN THINGS.-------------GET THE HINT. You are entitled to your opinion and I will defend that to anyone. I might not agree with it, but I will listen. I have rarely found anyone on here that is
different from me on that. Some choose to stay and debate their points and others simply walk away never to be heard from again, both are valuable.
Believe this though... This board has generated more suggestions, compliments, adjustments, contributions, and reality checks that Brahmas' ownership and mgmt has taken and ran with than many will ever know. Most of the regulars on here are in Mike Barack's cell phone and he in ours. Many of us have been contacted throughout the years by mgmt, coaches, players and owners to talk about their views and comments. Don't just read a post here or there in a few threads or over a few days/weeks and think you understand what this board has produced over the years for the Brahmas. Most of us have been on BOTH sides of the line fighting for a positive/negative view at one time or another, but in the end, we all sit in the stands and cheer for the team just like the next guys, just maybe with a little more passion or insight into what is Brahmas' hockey.... Just going to games is only a part of how deep our passion for our team goes, my passion got so intense over the last few yrs that I felt I needed to step back some this year because as Cowtown worded it the other day to me, "There is more to life than Brahmas' hockey". It isn't being negative, but being healthy... Don't ever mistake wanting better for something that you love the most as negative... Drew |

There are a lot of us who have been around for a long time, and who have supported hockey in Fort Worth, through good and bad times. I grew up watching the
Wings at WRMC. I was at the last home game for the Texans. I attended the press conference announcing the Fort Worth Fire at the Tandy Center Ice Rink. I have
season tickets for these teams, even in the "bad" years. Fans here are simply complaining about the lack of information and the unusual plan for
ticket sales.
I read this site daily, but have only posted one other time. Even so, I question the sincerity of many of the drive-by posters recently. They pop on, defend the ownership, and then disappear. Are these really fans, or are they just the same ownership creating alter-egos to defend themselves? We may never know. Because I travel a lot, I cannot buy season tickets, but I would like to attend specific games, including the season opener. Mike, Frank, Sall, et al, please give us information, and please open up ticket sales to all. You will make a whole lot more money that way, and, Lord knows, ou need it to make that building successful. If it were to close again, I don't think it would ever reopen with ice! |

It's the doldrums for hockey fans. There's no news coming from the Stars or the NHL in general. Looking through this morning's Star Telegram I
couldn't find any hockey news at all. So why should we look for information from the Brahmas? And I bet if you call the club tomorrow and asked to buy a
ticket to the home opener they would sell you one,or two, or more. Call 817-336-4ice.

Gary, This is the thing that would make you think you might get on a list or something but if the individual tickets were open now why would he say he could promise as many as they could buy through the 14th for the 27th. He is attempting a group sales to the bugs and could promise all they want? Like always they forget we monitor all sources and short of a phone call on a secure line it won't stay quiet. The first person told well tell and somewhere will be posted. They (Brahmas) have lost on that 1,000 times. They do not undersatand the power of this tool and minor league sports. Best in well communicated hockey Westy When does group sales contact us? For single game tickets, they don't.

As a fan, on a few occasions, I have been given a form to fill out and give feedback about what I liked, disliked, would like to see added or replaced when it comes to the Brahma experience. Owners want to know what we like and dislike. This is how they make us happy. Fans can be a lot like teeth. If you ignore them, they will go away. This forum is a simple way to provide this feedback on an ongoing basis. I have used this forum to give kudos when merited, but I have also used it to make suggestions for a better Brahma Land. In fact, most recently I have been beating the drum loud and long to let the ownership group, and anyone else who will listen, know that we have had a long time void on the Brahmas team. I make no apologies for my suggestions. I feel that my suggestions could lead to a better Brahma team. There is nothing so sad as a fan who is dispassionate about his team. Many of us check in here everyday to get the latest news about our team. We help pay the bills with our ticket purchases, keep the lights on, keep the ice cold, we help to keep the heat on in the winter and the a/c on in the summer. We have a stake in the decisions that are made. We want to see a winning team this year as in every year past. Sometimes we are like siblings who disagree with one another, but as siblings, if you disrespect our family, we bond together against the common enemy. Most families have a peace keeper. You can be ours. If we get out of hand, let us know. Realize, however, that we will whine and squabble from time to time, but we do love our family. We stand by our boys on the ice. We want the same things they want. Their goal is our goal. |

We are doing everything we can to ensure those that want a ticket to
opening night will have one. However, no single tickets have gone on sale to anyone. There are groups both locally and outside the market that are
starting to collect on ticket sales for groups. But no person is able to buy a single ticket until they have gone on sale. Originally a group for the Mudbugs was being handled internally but now a representative from their organization has taken on that
responsibity.We will be glad to assist any local group to attend any game this during the season. Whether Opening Night or not.
The single ticket sales date of September 15th is our goal. It could
change.
