Looks like unless you are accepted as one of the two brides there is no shot at the nuptuals. If you had been worthy there would be no need for a competetion. I must say I have never seen anything like this, done this way. After all the begging, pleading, and arm twisting to get this group and others to stand up for them, Mike and Stuart at Council I am Non Plused.

Like we said, off with the old and they think they don't need the old fans.

Well for whatever reasons looks like they want to stretch the positive bounds of the organization (team) and with it goes a new thought/goals for the Booster Club. I would think if you want to be part of Booster action then you gotta tune into the new wave length. We have new owners, new leaders, new name, new place to play, seems only natural now that I think about it that they would want to organize a new Booster Club. The way it was done just shows me a little glitch in how they have not yet learned the customer side of the business. May have a learning curve with the new mgt folks.

The new owners are not the ones that had to deal with CFW. I do have a hard time remembering that was eons ago. What was asked of us by the old guard plays little to what the new folks are thinking and doing. The club we have known really did die along with its trappings. Some fans stayed connected as did the old booster that continued to meet and this board but we were just a shell, holding hope and counting time. The new is new. They want little to do with the past except the hockey fans and past is past. This is a new day and a new team.

I must assume they have a way to get the players all they need in the apartments, meals done for the teams and all that past important stuff another way. The postings for the competition seems to direct the club activities in a completely new direction from all the years past. If that is the case most likely it is time for a change.
