Delay of Game |
Lead | |

OK, we got a delay of game penalty to start the second period. Evidently it was because the between period activities took too long. Did they try to schedule
too many activities between periods - introduce a hockey team, member by member, a sled race, and Angela's figure skating routine? Or, was it because they
replaced the replacement glass between the periods and the Zamboni driver was one of the workers helping with the glass - and not the fastest Zamboni driver
around? In any case, the staff doesn't need to work against Dan and the team.

Yep a mystery call like the unsportsmanlike conduct call at 14:43 of the 2nd against Cameron....was it for clapping his gloves with the call for cross checking
against Basile....or does Depuydt just have rabbit ears?....

Just for clarification. I was running the clock last night and when the ref came and told me about the penalty at the end of the period, I asked why. There
is a rule that was put in place to stop any altercations after the period end which states, if you can go to your locker room without getting on the ice you
are to do so. In other words, when whoever? from the Brahmas came on the ice at the end of the period to discuss something with the officials without being
told to that team gets a penalty. It actually has been there a long time but just since the All-Star game they were told to enforce it. If you remember the
Corpus Game they received one of these at the end of a period also. Hope this helps.

Yep, that one is being called a lot. Only by certain refs it seems. I saw him point at the locker room several times and the guy came off the bench anyway.
Paul being Paul on that call.

Does the ref still only talk to Cs and As or can anyone or do they get in dutch? Along with that and my seeing ain't so great but I thought I saw more
than 1 C on the Bossier team yes-teddy.

I think as long as it is a guy looking for a clarification on a play he was involved in the ref will go ahead and talk to him. If it is a guy looking to argue
about his parental lineage they must be wearing an A or the C.

From what I heard and saw that is what the player was coming to do, discuss an error in 1, 2, 3 scoring on the part of the officials.
We love Paul here in Tarrant County. He is our buddy! Best in "De Pew" hockey Westy
