No trouble this time Hickorytree - this was a playoff intensity game and one of the best I've seen in 10 years. Even had we lost it would have been a great
game. The officiating almost ruined the game though. Like Butch said, " tudor will never become a four door" He tried to make the game be about him
and he almost succeeded. Our boys got in at 8am from Laredo and played with a short bench. No one is saying what happened to Minzy but we were without him, as
well as Larilla and Cody. The boys left it all on the ice tonight so not sure how they will come out against the Bats. Hopefully they will bury them in guano.

As always it has been a fun trip over here for me and my crew. Thanks to so many Brahmas folks for making us feel welcome. This is, however, the first time I have felt "unwelcome" in your place. I know there is always likely to be a fan or two like that and I had the misfortune of meeting one of them tonite. Even after offering my congratualtions, he was rude. ahhhh well. I'll live. However, I won't be putting 4 butts in seats for your game tomorrow even though that was our original plan.. Thank your GM (if that was who it was) for us making the decison to head on home instead of hanging around to watch some hockey. Still kinda hope you win...but will feel a little vindication if you don't. I reckon this won't be my last trip over here this year......but will be a little more particular about who I speak to from now on. Congrats again on the win/\.

we were thinking about going to your game today and then heading home. At the door someone was handing out ticket information (that's what I was told it
was) and when I held out my hand to get one of the sheets, he wouldn't give me one saying "nope, you won't be interested in this". I had to
actually follow him and ask for one. Maybe he wasn't your GM....but that is what I was told.
Doesn't matter....guess we need to head on back anyway. It was probably the "not interested" comment on top of dealing with the rude fan that finally just was too much for me.

With a fan on the boards sitting on the end seat row one across the isle from us. The bugs fan was wearing a Lightbody jersey not sure what started the whole
thing but I do know the NRH police were involved at one point. They were watching pregame crowding the isle along with the kids that were to skate between
periods and I guess he took objection to it or felt crowded. The female bugs fan and hin seemed to have a few words and niether wanted to give up. What those
were I do not know didn't seem to be out of the ordinary and didn't think much of it because the Bulls fans they were talking too has had problems with
others during other games. He can be a real jerk, but that's not the rest of us, we had a good number of bugs fans around us an had a great time.

I don't know about any kids that were to skate between periods. The aisle was completely empty when we got there. We stepped in the aisle to let the kids
say hi to our guys during warmup. I turned around and said hello and made a couple of comments like "your guys are doing great and I hope you make
playoffs, etc.". He made a couple of comments about the bugs, etc. and i thought he was joking around. Not. I finally just said "well, your guys NEED
to win this game tonite.....doesn't really matter to us, we've already got our spot." That's when he told me I had to get away from there. I
told him we were just watching our guys for a bit and then would be heading to our seats. He told me that he had paid $28 and wanted to watch the Brahmas
warmup. I said they are on the other end of the ice....he said I couldn't stand there and if I didn't move he'd have me moved by the cops.
"ok, go ahead" The cops came up and talked to me. I told them we were there for a few minutes to watch our guys and then would be moving down to our
seats. They just told me to make sure I wasn't touching his seat area. We stood around a couple more minutes then left. Shouldn't have been that big a
deal.....
I went by after your second goal and told him congratulations on the goal....that it was a good game. Also went by after the game to say congratulations. He wasn't happy to see me either time and I was just trying to be nice. I sit at the visiting team warmup at home and love when visitors come down to watch their guys. Always talk to them and welcome them, etc. As usual, all your other fans were great. I was just a little shocked at him I guess.

It does not matter whose barn you are at you are always going to have some jerks. There are good people here and they love to support their team. We welcome
everyone who comes to our barn. If the issue was that bad and made you that upset that you did not want to return don't you think you should have found
another manager and let them know of the situation now its only a he said she said deal and who are you going to believe if it even happened at all. I for one
don't believe our Gm did anything like you are saying. This organization is a class act and should not be thrown under the bus. I tell you what just to
show you how we are I am willing to pay for you next ticket to a game here. I am not related to the organization and just a fan. Now how do you like that for
hospitality?

Awh well I guess what makes this game so exciting is its "all in the eye of the beholder" gsg! I enjoyed both games. Tudor does make some mistakes
but will take him ahead of the ref you had in Laredo any day! You talk about being on a mission, that young man doesn't have a sniff that the game is not
all about him and who he wants to win at any particular time or any particular moment. Think that the CHL has made great strides since coming into being, but
sure wish they would take a long hard look at their officiating problem...and it is a problem...a big one! I feel that it is the ONLY thing that the ECHL has
one up on us!

reckon this won't be my last trip over here this year......" so obviously it didn't make me that upset. I just found it different than the usual
situation here. I was simply relating my feelings and said that the thing on the way out the door probably bothered me more than it should because of the
earlier incident.
I appreciate the offer of the ticket....but no one has to buy me a ticket for me to come back. I've already said I'd be here anyway.

Yeah everywhere you go you get at least one fan that is completely retarded. Unless you go to Wichita, then the whole arena is that way. I think the Bossier
fans are awesome, I love their support for their team. I saw the problem with the lady in the Lightbody, and I saw one of our people that sells the foam bulls

John, as I said, I probably took more offense than was warranted about the discount for today's game. After the other incident I was a little touchy. But
we were considering staying for your game today to cheer you guys on against Austin. The remark "No, you don't need one of these....it won't
interest you" just hit me wrong.
I'm over it already. The four trips I've made over there have been great with the exceptions last nite and even then it was an fun trip. For my own selfish reasons I'm happy the Brahmas are doing well....and yes, I'm interested

Three or four years ago I tried to buy a swamp roach but was told no. Guess it depends on who is working the table. Anyway, the poster who claimed to have seen our fan club refuse to sell a bull to a bug in reality is probably a bug fan over here stirring the pot. |
