Huevos con pappas and menudo for me. Butch talked about B. Don's funeral and Rip Johnson. We solved the energy crisis by agreeing to keep nobama out of the
White House and getting rid of Pelosi and Reed. John voted nay. John felt the club was starting from scratch again because there was no core of returning
players. We disagreed with him. August 16 we will lunch with Dan and Forbes at a place to be determined. Bring Betty, Tommy, and Melinda.
That's about it. It was fun. |

Did yah drink coffee? They have some of the best in Fort Worth. It is a shame we have no one selling Fort Worth. No one is selling Dallas either. I know the
Convention Office and Chambers do their things but it is not the same as what B. Don, Amon G. Carter, and other well known mayors once did. Our current
leadership is just plain lousey and busy filling their pockets or those of their friends. It is a shame.

The food was excellent as usual, the Margaritas were tasty, cold and served in Beer Schooners. The dancing girls were flown in from the old country by friendly AF pilots and their Stealth planes.
